The Case

The outside cabinetry on a Lowrey is known as the case, and it is Lowrey's most visual feature. A high-quality case adds beauty, strength and supports each instrument. Lowrey uses only the finest hardwoods - oak, cherry, walnut and mahogany for their cases. Each case is stained according to the strictest quality standards, so that every Lowrey maintains uniformity and demonstrates the beauty of the wood.

The Lowrey Sound

Great sound is the foundation of any audio system and Lowrey has been setting the standards of audio performance for years — from the studio to the concert hall and into your home — with quality construction, sonic accuracy and audible detail. That tradition of excellence comes home with these multipurpose speaker systems, designed to provide the finishing touches to your recreational music making experience.

Every Lowrey is equipped with a state-of-the-art digital sound system, affording players the highest quality of tonal sound. Six speakers are held within the case, affording players the highest quality of tonal sound. Because a Lowrey can offer over hundreds of different sounds, the sound system has to be able to distinguish each sound and amplify it at its correct tonal range.

Lowrey has a history of creating some of the most unique sounds in the industry through a wide variety of waveforms, voicing and oscillators. Artists have always looked to Lowrey for new ways of expressing their music. Musicians like the Beatles - have relied on Lowrey's advanced technology and sound quality. In fact, a Lowrey was one of the most requested instruments of The Beatles and had a permanent place at their Abbey Road Studio. You can find the Lowrey sound on many of their albums including Magical Mystery Tour and White Album.

State-Of-The-Art Digital Technology

'Live Performance' sound is a hallmark of the Lowrey brand - and what drives that sound is the company's proprietary technology. From full orchestra, to individual instruments, it’s the 96 tone Oscillators in the Lowrey Legend for example, that provide the variety and richness of sound so distinct on a Lowrey.

The oscillators produce the sound waves needed to create the dozens upon dozens of Rhythm Styles and sounds within a Lowrey. Within each Lowrey you'll find some of the most dynamic, advanced audio technology available - all focused on maximizing sound quality and designed to make even the novice player sound like a pro.

From the Viennese Waltz to the Bossa Nova, from Big Band to Roadside Cafe, or the Chicago Blues to Disco, Folk, Lounge, Jazz and dozens more, it is Lowrey's decades long search for new and improved ways in which to deliver 'the Lowrey Sound' that today offers the single most diverse array of sounds, instruments, and rhythm styles than any other recreational music making instrument on the market.
